I wasn’t really sure what it meant to be a chiropractor until I ended up at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. But first let me tell you how I got there… I was a three sport athlete in high school and was recruited by colleges to play either basketball or tennis, but didn’t know which to choose. So I decided to go to the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, a division two college, where they would allow me to play both. I went to college with the idea that I was going to major in psychology and after switching my major a couple of times I was still unsure what I wanted to be when I grew up. After three years of playing tennis and basketball at the collegiate level (which meant nearly 4 hours of practice a day sometimes more when the seasons overlapped) my body decided enough was enough and I ended up with major back pain.
